DESCRIPTION LAGAZUOI
Lagazuoi is part of the Fanes group and is located in the Belluno Dolomites, just a few kilometers from the border with South Tyrol. The terrace of the Lagazuoi refuge is the most panoramic in the Dolomites, offering views of: Marmolada (3342 m), the Tofane, the Odle group, Civetta, the Cinque Torri (symbol of Cortina d'Ampezzo), Antelao, and an array of other peaks as far as the eye can see—truly unmissable. In addition to the unique beauty of the location and the breathtaking panoramas, Lagazuoi has great historical significance, having been the site of fierce battles during World War I between the Italian and Austro-Hungarian forces.
DESCRIPTION MONTE PIANA
Monte Piana (2324 m) is well known for its spectacular scenery, offering views of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, the Cadini di Sesto, and the Croda Rossa d'Ampezzo (3148 m). It was the site of intense battles between the Italian and Austro-Hungarian troops due to its panoramic and dominant position. You can reach the Angelo Bosi refuge by jeep, making this high-altitude excursion suitable for everyone. The scenery is simply stunning, surrounded by centuries-old larch forests and 360-degree mountain views. The summit is a vast plateau, accessible to all, and visitors can rest and refresh at the refuge.
DESCRIPTION LAKE BRAIES
Lake Braies is the largest lake in the Dolomites, located at 1496 m in a truly unique setting. It is an absolutely stunning lake, often described as a pearl of the Dolomites that should be visited. Its turquoise waters reflect the imposing Croda del Becco (2810 m). Due to its beauty and poetic atmosphere, it was chosen as the setting for the popular TV series "A Two Steps from Heaven" (Un passo dal cielo). The romantic walk around the lake reveals corners that are perfect for landscape photography, creating evocative and impactful images.
DESCRIPTION SECOND DAY - LAKE FEDERA
Lake Federa is a magnificent alpine lake accessible from Cortina d’Ampezzo (Campo area). It can be reached on foot via trails that take about two hours to the Malga Federa (1616 m) and another 1.5 hours to the Palmieri Refuge (2056 m) located right on Lake Federa. However, it can also be accessed by jeep to shorten the time and reduce effort, given the 900-meter elevation gain. The lake lies in a beautiful basin at the eastern foot of the Croda del Lago ridge, with views of the Becco di Mezzodì, the famous peak that rises above Forcella Ambrizzola and marks the highest point of the day for the people of Ampezzo. On the southern shore stands the historic Croda da Lago – Gianni Palmieri refuge, surrounded by centuries-old larches, extensive forests, and the vast meadows of Monte de Federa. The beauty of the surrounding environment and the relatively easy access via various hiking paths have made the lake very popular with tourists and it is widely depicted in postcards as a symbol of the Dolomites.

Il Lagazuoi fa parte del gruppo di Fanes e si colloca nelle Dolomiti Bellunesi, a pochi chilometri dal confine con l'Alto Adige. La terrazza del rifugio Lagazuoi è la più panoramica delle Dolomiti, con vista su : Marmolada 3342 mt, Tofane, il gruppo delle Odle, il Civetta, le Cinque Torri simbolo di Cortina d'Ampezzo, Antelao e un numero di cime a perdita d'occhio veramente imperdibile. Oltre alla bellezza unica del luogo e dei panorami Il Lagazuoi ha un grande valore Storico essendo stato teatro di cruente battaglie nella Grande Guerra fra le truppe Italiane e quelle Austro-Ungariche .
DESCRIZIONE MONTE PIANA
Il monte Piana 2324 mt è molto noto per i suoi scenari spettacolari, dalla vista delle Tre Cime di Lavaredo, ai Cadini di Sesto, la Croda Rossa d'Ampezzo 3148 mt . E' stato teatro di furiose battaglie fra le truppe Italiane e quelle Austro-Ungariche proprio per la sua posizione panoramica e dominante. Si può salire al rifugio Angelo Bosi con un servizio di Jeep e rendendo così l'escursione in quota adatta a tutti. Lo scenario è a dir poco meraviglioso immersi in foreste di larici secolari e vette a trecentosessata gradi. La sommità è un grade altopiano visitabile per tutti e al rifugio è possibile rifocillarsi.
DESCRIZIONE DEL LAGO DI BRAIES
Il lago di Braies è il lago più grande delle Dolomiti è posto a 1496 mt in un contesto veramente unico. E' un lago assolutamente unico e è considerato veramente una perla che deve essere visitato. Nelle sue splendide acque turchesi si specchia l'imponente Croda del Becco 2810 mt. Per la sua bellezza e poesia è stato scelto come base per la famosa e riuscita serie televisiva “ A due passi dal cielo “ Molto romantica è la passeggiata attorno al lago scoprendo così angoli che ben si prestano a una fotografia di paesaggio molto evocativa e di grande impatto.
DESCRIZIONE SECONDO GIORNO LAGO FEDERA
Il lago Federa è un magnifico lago alpino raggiungibile da Cortina D’ampezzo loc. Campo. A piedi attraverso sentieri che in due ore ci portano a Malga Federa 1616 mt e in altre 1,5 ore si ariva al Rifugio Palmieri 2056 mt proprio sul lago Federa . Può essere raggiunto però anche con un servizio di Jepp per accorciare i tempi e la fatica, dato il dislivello positivo di circa 900 mt. Il lago giace in una splendida conca al piede orientale della cresta della Croda del lago e in vista del Becco di Mezzodì, la famosa cima che elevandosi su Forcella Ambrizzola segna il culmine del giorno per le genti d'Ampezzo. Sulla sponda meridionale sorge lo storico rifugio Croda da Lago - Gianni Palmieri circondato da larici secolari, estesi boschi e le ampie distese prative della Monte de Federa. La bellezza dell'ambiente circostante e la relativa facilità di accesso mediante vari percorsi escursionistici hanno reso il lago molto popolare turisticamente e ampiamente raffigurato nelle cartoline come simbolo delle Dolomiti.
